Obscura Flow was initiated by Solomon Jamy Brown, a photographer whose work questions the memory and trace of the image. While organizing his own photographic archive, he ran into a problem larger than mere filing: how do you guarantee that these images will remain legible, documented, and verifiable in ten, twenty, or fifty years?
Catalogs age, drives multiply, metadata scatters, and backups are never truly verified. No tool treated preservation as the core of the problem rather than an afterthought. Obscura Flow is the answer to that gap.
